From the reviewer's point of view, this roundup was not successfull in the way I would have hoped for. Both products functioned more or less identically in our test bench and it was disapointing in a way. On the other hand both products performed well and gave good overclocking results even though the limit of 260 MHz seems bit odd. It is better results that some sites have received in their reviews but there are some that have had even better results with the same ABIT AA8 motherboard. There are variants like different CPU, power supply and even memory modules from different manufacturers but still I was hoping to get even better results.

Price of the products doesn't separate them any more than the benchmarking results did. Mushkin is currently selling their 1GB kit with $274 and Corsair's Twinx kit can be bought via Dealtime for $299. Not much of a difference there. Perhaps this is the situation where those blinking led lights of Corsair's PRO series would come handy. Making the product stand out bit more from others. :)

Either way, both products delivered what they promised and gave out some extra in form of a good overclocking results. I know that this time we didn't make it any easier for the consumer to decide which of the two products is better but because of near identical performance may the price and brand preference decide the outcome for you. Both products will receive our "Highly Recommended"-award for their excellent stability and performance.
